As the warmth of summer is finally making it's way to us it seems like the ideal moment to highlight our spring silk jackets.
First up we have the Butterfly jacket by Caruso in a mixed wool, silk & linen fabric. The lightweight Butterfly jacket by Caruso sports a fully unlined construction which gives it that classic soft Italian fit and a really nice drape.
A great "of the rack" jacket with all sartorial details throughout like the hand stitched lapels and button holes. The mixed fabric has an amazing depth and sheen to it which makes it incredibly chique. We love to see it dressed up for a party or more casual on the weekends.
Another amazing jacket is the Possilipo by De Petrillo made from pure silk Shantung. The uneven fabric gives it a really playful look. It's a little more casual and shows you got summer on your mind. The jacket is also totally unlined making really easy to wear.
Combined with a pair of nice loafers and a pair of pleated linen trousers it can fit so many occasions. Pair it with a sweater, jeans and cotton canvas sneakers and you have yourself a casual weekender outfit.
Silk is for the summer
