In 1925 Caroline decided to set up her first workshop in the historical centre of Naples. She sewed shirts for a select number of customers, using the Neapolitan high fashion rules which regarding elegance laid down the law all over the world.
Those rules and skills were passed down to her son Alberto and his wife, Stefania, who in the 1960s opened their first large workshop in San Giorgio a Cremano, a town bordering Naples. Alberto was gifted with a strong business sense and supported by his wife’s experience ( Stefania also grew up in this trade) turned the workshop into an important company for hand-made shirts.
The fine twill has a great hand and a little more volume then the poplin cloth. A great shirt for thos who prefer just a little volume.
The finamore x Frans Boone shirts are made to order to fulfil the demand of our loyal clients, asking for a slim fit, best fabrics and soft unlined cuffs and collars with bone’s that are detachable. The collar is model Eduardo in this case, a semi cutaway collar with a 4.5 cm.
