Barnstormer was the first to offer made in Japan military chino's (Khaki's) back in 1977. Inspired by the sleek design of those classic military pants from the 40's the founder Ebine Monroe bought American sewing machines and teamed up with one of the leading manufacturers in Military cloths in Tohoku to get a fabric that was of a similar quality.
The 1952UC model is a refined chino designed for everyday life, combining the robust fabric typically seen on Military reproductions with the details & refinement from the sartorial realm. So it goes without saying the brands offers a lot of the qualities we look for in a pair of pants.
The yarn used in the cotton twill fabric is the result of the American project, and uses Nos. 16 and 12. Barnstormer is very particular about old-fashioned single threads, and by adjusting the twist of the thread a the fabric gets a nice bit of texture.
We offer these Chino's Hemmed in 2 Length's 29 and 31 Inch and now also unhemmed/unfinished. Perfect for the Taller Men or the guys who want a Cuff on their chino's. Select the size that only has the waist size indication. inseam unfinished is 92 so maximum will be 90 cm inseam finished
