Chamula's handcrafted "Therapeutic" Alpaca socks. Some of the softest leisure socks we have ever stocked.

The Alpaca fiber makes these socks warm, soft and lightweight. Alpaca yarn has some unique proporties making it a valuable natural fiber. It's naturally moisture wicking, superbly insulating and hypoalergenic.

Alpaca's are native to the Andes in South America. The temperature difference between night and day can be huge, up to 25 degrees. Alpacas have adapted to this climate by developing a versatile wool coat that can take the freezing night and both the scorching sun during the day. This extreme environment is what shapes the alpaca yarn and what makes it so valuable.
