The "Birks" model is designed after the jazz trumpeter John Birks “Dizzy” Gillespie. It's a comfortable sports jacket with a slightly boxy cut but an elasticated waist to give it some shape. The front can easily be left open and just closed at the button or fully zipped up when needed.
The Dolmany Satin has been analyzed and refined to re-create the wool satin fabric used for military wear and outerwear from the early 20th century. It has the touch and feel of Flannel but the durability of Cavalry Twill.
