In The Shetlands, a name i remember as a general name for sturdy itchy wool sweaters, Laurence J. Smith is one of the longer established names. They manufacture Shetland wool jumpers, but in a fleece that had some milling to achieve a soft touch. The techniques for knitting are the traditional ones, this is a seamless sweater, that requires a lot of craftsmanship. These sweaters are meant for daily wear and lasting a life time.
