This Relaxed Tapered fit jeans by Studio D'Artisan uses a slubby, 15Oz selvedge denim woven on 50-year old Toyota power looms. This vintage shuttle loom runs at a lower pace and requires hand operation to function. It yields a looser tension than modern machines and results in the irregular and slubby texture that makes these jeans so beautiful.
The relaxed tapered fit features a slightly higher rise and has a relaxed fit through the upper leg, which is more accommodating to those with thicker calves while keeping a slim fit throughout as the legs tapers significantly from the knee down.
