The Peacoat remains a menswear classic and this version by The Corona Utility takes it's design cues from the WW1 U.S. Navy Pea Coat, but gives it an slightly updated look for modern comfort and wearability. It features a distinctive large collar and a sleek, elongated silhouette that follows the body's natural lines, offering a perfect balance between a relaxed and tailored fit. The double-breasted front closure allows the top panel to be fastened on either side, adapting to changing wind conditions, while the traditional 10-button design remains intact. This fabric is a cashmere-blend wool melton, a signature material used by the brand since its first season in 2006. Historically, cashmere-blend wool melton was used for French Navy uniforms. Both the warp and weft yarns contain cashmere, giving the fabric a refined texture and a smooth, luxurious feel. This melton is characterized by its elegant appearance, substantial volume, and lightweight suppleness, while also offering excellent heat retention.
