These are a vintage reproduction of 60s and 70s era swim shorts crafted from durable light weight cotton corduroy fabric. A favorite choice of Preps and Surfers based on the West Coast of the United States, corduroy swim shorts were preferred for their versatile, hard-wearing, and breathable quality - the style of 70s surfers being was cemented by textured corduroy shorts with super short cut-off hems. Characteristic of corduroy of the era, this fabric’s color and hue will fade from exposure to the sun, wear, and repeated washes in the ocean and washing machine.
