Replicating denim to the exact spec as to those in the 1950s can prove quite the task. With 2 years in the making, we have taken things a step further by producing a cloth completely from scratch that will emulate the perfect 1950s denim, creating a very natural slub denim that vintage collectors have come to know and love. Having tried before with vintage looms but getting inconsistent results, we have now managed to achieve our goal with extensive research and development and by using one of the most consistent vintage looms in existence.

For this first ever washed model, we use our base Lot.001XXJ which has been garment washed and hand finished using a process known as topping. 

For this custom version of the washed type 2 denim jacket, a Native American chainstitch embroidery has been added on the back. The tight chainstitch of the embroidery allows gentle hand washing.

Due to recurring issues with customs processing under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, we no longer offer DDP. All international orders are shipped Cash on Delivery (COD), meaning local taxes, duties, and customs charges are payable by the customer upon import. For shipments outside the EU (including the UK and Switzerland), required customs and origin declarations are applied in line with applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTA). Shipments to the UK fall under the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA). Where applicable, a Statement of Origin or Invoice Declaration / Preferential Origin Statement will be included on the commercial invoice to support reduced or zero import duties under the relevant FTA or TCA. Clearance items -30% -50% are not eligable for a return when purchased outside EU
