Robert Doisneau is a Parisian Born Photographer, working from the 1930 to the early 1970's. During the WWII he became a member of " La Resistance " both as Soldier and Photographer. We assume that this is were he got his military jacket. The jacket takes it's references from a number of jackets, but maybe is closest to a modified M-43 jacket.
The fabric used is a plain weave fabric with hemp marl yarn (two coloured yarn twist). Hemp itself is naturally hollow fiber which has features of lightness, softness, superior cool touch, humid control ability and comfortability. Also, hemp does not need any of pesticides nor fertilizer as that is annual grass. In Japan, it has more than ten thousand year history as daily use and Shinto festival equipment.
Like classic military jackets the fit is roomy and slightly oversized. Please use the check the fit tool to find your size.
