Rocky Mountain Featherbed was originally founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming ( the cowboy state ) specialising in down filled outerwear with Western style yokes. This design became popular among skiers and ranchers in the American west. The brand kept pushing technical boundaries developing fabrics but went out of business in the 80’s.

Back in 2005, the team of 25 Summers Ltd got a hold of the licensing and is now replicating the classic down jackets to exacting standards with the utmost respect for the original. The end product are jackets that have the rugged look of classic Americana combined with the detail oriented precision of the Japanese.
