Lakeside or seaside outfits need a bit of a different approach compared to city life in the summer.

We believe in cashmere in spring as suggested in this outfit, a cashmere crew-neck replacing a shirt or a cotton sweater. As temperatures only slowly rise, early mornings it’s very comfortable to wear a cardigan, and why not a cashmere one that makes life comfortable? Our second run of this Cashmere shawl cardigan for Frans Boone store in a wonderful teal is perfect for it. Here we teamed it up with a Dormouse colored Oxton crew-neck sweater on our natural colored Rota McQueen pants, which takes us back to the years the movie stars like Steve McQueen were dominating cinema screens… We will not exaggerate, but the Alden x Frans Boone Chukka’s with matching colored socks really finish the look.

Sometimes items just make us smile when they come into our warehouse, as sometimes we never get to see them before delivery, but have to trust the description of fabric and color… Just like this shirt from Double RL, a very strong item. A soft hand, well washed and faded in a perfect fit for a shirt like this, as an overshirt, or just as a shirt on bright washed denims, which brings us to these jeans; The Camden wash was one of the first washes we introduced when our store opened in Knokke, and still we had demand for it. We are glad to see it back, and even better to see it back in the straight fit, which makes it very comfortable and a little more relaxed to wear. The mid rise makes it stay were it belongs and looks just perfect. The navy long sleeve athletic tees from The Real McCoy’s are great to match with this style, the shirt gets an overshirt and is a perfect layer this way that can be peeled of when temperatures rise.

When temperatures rise enough, its time to wear poplin pants, striped basque shirts an lightweight cotton jackets from Massimo Alba. These jackets are like shirts, soft, unconstructed, but have pockets, which makes it super practical to wear as you can easily carry all your belongings. The lightweight pants are from Engineered Garments, I am surprised how easy it blends into our collection after leaving our store back in 2017. maybe even better then ever, times have changed and also their Ivy jacket will work perfect!

The pants are finished with a cuff and are “cropped” and have a great rise height and volume above, going down into a tapered leg opening. Perfect for summer pants, we stock them in a range of lightweight summer fabrics. The Common Projects slip-on's don’t need an introduction, these navy suede are nailing this outfit.
