The Alain Shawl Cardigan for Frans Boone
Posted by Sepp Dedeyne on
We are excited to introduce our new Alain lambswool Shawl Cardigan by William Lockie.
The model is based on a classic shawl collar cardigan which was seen on workers in Scotland, designed to be hard wearing and multi functional. We tweaked the design by opting for a slimmer shoulder, which gives it a more flattering and modern look. We sourced the dark brown horn buttons in Italy and added handy patch pockets which give you enough space to store some smaller items.
We love a Shawl Collar cardigan, it's one of those items that never goes out of style and has a place in every wardrobe. It's beauty is in it's versatility, you can easily dress it up or dress it down. Wear it to the office on with a button-down shirt or just on the weekends at home with one of the McCoy's Athletic longsleeves and a pair of easy pants or jeans. It's a comfortable companion for lounging in-house but easily turns into a jacket when you have to go run some errands. The 4-ply Lambswool knit gives it a substantial weight, just button the shawl collar put on a beanie and you are ready to go into town.
